Pro: - The apartment is in an easy location, close to the old Bucharest and the price is good. - The host is available and cooperative, he provides with assistance through Whatsapp.
Contra: - Finding the key was an adventure, because the box couldn’t be open with the given code according the instructions. The parking guy next to the building entrance saw us with all luggage, came to us and pointed out that there is a second padlock inside the building entrance. If it wasn't him, we wouldn't be able to get inside. - It turned out that there was only one key in this box, buuut the outside door of the building is locked at night, so we were locked in the apartment and weren’t able to go out in the evening. So, if you arrive late after 8-9pm and you can't open the padlock - you probably will stay on the street unless the host doesn't find a quick solution. The host sent a neighbor who unlocked the door for us, but any other neighbor could lock it and we would stay on the street. Therefore, we do not go out for a night sidewalk. - After we entered the apartment - there was no hot water and no heating – we had to find out from where to switch on the heating system - There was no WiFi and TV either, so we had to restart the device and fix it ourselves also - A CCTV camera is positioned at the front door. There is no sticker or note that the apartment is under CCTV video surveillance. We also noticed that there were some motion sensors located in the rooms themselves, but we did not see any security system in the apartment. This calls into question whether the apartment is not being filmed illegally?! - Bedrooms are on the side of the big boulevard and it's a little noisy.
