The estate is owned by the counts Bethlen, a Transylvanian Hungarian family that founded the village of Cris in 1305 and built what is today regarded as one of the most important renaissance castles in the country. By creating high-end guesthouses, we wish to attract visitors to experience the beauty and mystical spirit of Transylvania.
