9 We would very much like to return here. Totally loved our stay and we can't recommend enough

Pro: First of all, the hosts, lovely people. Very understanding, readily available, english speaking and overall very nice. The place is absolutely spotless, very comfortable beds, nice and warm ( we were expecting to be a bit chilly, but we got Aspen quality accomodations). All the facilities as described. The interior decorations is what really caught our eyes. Hand crafted by our lovely host and very detailed. BBQ zone was very nice with those lumber benches and the fire pit. The mountains, though not as rugged as the Rocky Mountains, have a very pitoresque feeling. The people very friendly but you can see that they are hard mountain people. Overall we wish we had a bit more time to explore Marisel and the nearby natural park.

Contra: We hoped that we would find snow in december, but due to that heat wave we got rather cold weather. It's not actually anything wrong with the place. We had a very brief power outage (about 20 mins) but that again comes with the remote location.
