To really feel the spirit of Brașov, stay in our 16th century historic building, whose architecture has not been changed for over 400 years. This is where Prince Michael the Brave, the Voievod of Wallachia (the southern part of today's Romania) spent a few nights, when he visited the then-Mayor and head judge of Brașov, Valentin Hirscher, in 1600. The property also features a garden enclosed by the medieval walls of the city.

The apartment has a separate entrance and staircase, which makes it unique and provides a lot of privacy. All windows are south-facing, so the flat benefits from natural light all day long and also direct sunlight between 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Due to its thick medieval walls, the flat is very cool in summer and warm in winter.

The flat has a generous private staircase made of natural wood hundreds of years old, which leads to an entrance hallway tastefully decorated in keeping with the history of the building. There is a bedroom, with a double bed, TV and wardrobe and a living room with an expandable sofa bed and a second TV set where two more please can sleep. In the living room, there is also a working space (desk and ergonomic desk chair).

I am passionate about my country's history and particularly preserving the unique character of medieval Brasov. I am also very keen on environmentally-friendly products and a healthy lifestyle. Brasov offers this unique combination of the great outdoors and fabulous architecture. This is why I love my city and I really hope you too will find it enchanting.

I also like healthy home cooking and for this reason a fully furnished kitchen (microwave, cooking hob, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher) provides my guests with the space to cook their own meals.

Coming out of the flat you enter a private courtyard that leads to the main street. Walk 50 meters to the right and you are in front of the Black Church. If you walk 50 meters to the left, you are in Brașov's Main Square (Piața Sfatului). The pedestrian area with the main pedestrian street featuring the best restaurants and bars (Republicii Street) start.
